Metaphorical thinking is useful in developing different perspectives and cultivating a new understanding that may not be available in literal descriptions. Just because a metaphor may not be factually accurate or relevant does not mean it cannot be useful.

This site is my ongoing attempt to examine the ordinary experiences of life through different lenses. I want to curate an intentional life, which requires slowing down and thinking deeply about my actions.

Introspective writing is by its very nature slow. The blank page creates the possibility for creation, and reflection for the possibility of recreation, refining, and sometimes seeing a whole new picture.

My focus is not extraordinary events (though I’ve had those too), but on every day life. I write to better understand, not to persuade. And as always, there’s no one answer to the subjective experience.

This is a personal project and does not represent any one but the individual who I am. I am not an expert, just a human trying to be the best human she can be.
